Embarking on my brewing journey started with a solid foundation - a New Zealand Certificate of Science in microbiology which laid the groundwork for what would become a lifelong pursuit of crafting exceptional brews. 

The 90's marked a pivotal moment as I dove headfirst into the emerging craft brewing scene in Auckland, serving as an assistant brewer at one of the city's pioneering craft breweries. From the very first brew, I knew I had found my calling.

Fast forward over three decades, and my journey has been nothing short of a frothy adventure. Armed with a Masters degree in brewing science, I ascended to the prestigious position of NZ head brewer for a global brewing giant.
Collaborating with the world's best master brewers and soaking in the wisdom of brewing luminaries, I honed my craft to perfection.
